What Is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy massage is a wonderful way to boost and aid the body's own healing process and release the tension and stress of everyday living. Only when we are relaxed, with our nervous system and vital organs unstressed, can we feel whole in body, mind and spirit.
Aromatherapy is the controlled use of aromatic substances distilled from plants. These essential oils are highly volatile and fragrant and each possesses its own unique therapeutic value. Even smelling them can be calming or uplifting, inducing a sense of well-being..
Aromatherapy is used to alleviate a variety of conditions such as headaches, anxiety, digestive problems, muscular aches and pains, arthritis and insomnia..
The combination of therapeutic massage with essential oils provides a powerful tool of healing. It not only enhances lymph and blood circulation and relaxes tired muscles but can also induce an overall sense of renewed vitality.
